Euro Grade 7
The Euro Grade 7 is an insurance-approved security safe, certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 7. Three sizes hold 180, 240 and 300 litres, in cabinets 1150 to 1750 mm high on a constant 760 by 730 mm footprint.
Certified Grade 7 burglary protection
Every Euro Grade 7 is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 and certified by SBSC in Sweden and ECB•S in Germany, rather than rated by the company that built it. Grade 7 is the top of the standard: nothing above it is certified. It is specified for central bank and treasury holdings, high-denomination cash processing, precious metals and major jewellery inventories, where a lower grade will not satisfy the insurer or the regulator. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.
Choosing your Euro Grade 7
The Grade 7 body is larger than the Grade 5 and Grade 6 cabinets for the same interior volume, because the extra resistance is built into the wall and door thickness. Plan around the weight: a structural assessment of the floor and the delivery route belongs in the specification. Each safe is opened by a double key lock on the four-eyes principle together with a mechanical combination lock, so opening always needs two people. Finished in White RAL 9010, with floor anchor points. Where Grade 7 is more than the risk requires, the Grade 5 and Grade 6 ranges cover the same capacities.
