KWT Grade 0

The KWT Grade 0 is a certified gun safe range, tested to EN 1143-1 Grade 0 and certified by ECB•S in Germany, for handguns, ammunition and valuables. Seven sizes run from 5 to 118 litres.

Certified Grade 0 firearms storage

Every KWT Grade 0 safe is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 rather than rated by its own maker, and is approved for storing up to five handguns together with ammunition. Grade 0 is the entry point of the European safe standard — where a licensing authority or insurer asks for more, the KWT Grade 1 range carries the next grade up in similar sizes. Requirements for storing licensed firearms are set by national law and differ between countries, so check what applies where you are. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.

Choosing your KWT Grade 0

Sizes run from 405 to 1,020 mm high, 360 to 500 mm wide and 170 to 420 mm deep — the shallowest models are little more than a wall cabinet, so check the depth against what you intend to store. The KWT 900 holds two handguns on bolts in its rear wall; the KWT 1000 and 2000 have one movable shelf and the larger sizes two, and from the KWT 2000 a holder for four or five handguns can be added. Choose a key lock with two keys or a single-user electronic code lock, with a 90-user code lock from the KWT 3000, in Graphite Grey RAL 7024 or, from the KWT 1000, Light Grey RAL 7035. Every safe can be bolted down to the floor and rear wall using the supplied anchor points.
