Q-90 Chemical Safety Cabinet

The Q-90 is a full-size chemical safety cabinet designed for the compliant storage of flammable liquids, solvents, corrosives, and other hazardous substances in laboratories, industrial facilities, and professional environments where significant volumes of hazardous materials are held on-site. Its 90-litre capacity is suited to facilities with regular, high-volume chemical use where a smaller cabinet would require inconveniently frequent replenishment from external storage or would not accommodate the full range of solvents and reagents needed for daily operations.

The Q-90 features double-wall powder-coated steel construction throughout, a self-closing door with three-point locking to prevent inadvertent opening, an integrated leak-proof spill sump sized to contain the contents of the largest vessel stored, and ventilation ports to prevent the accumulation of flammable vapours within the cabinet. Together, these features address the three primary hazards of flammable chemical storage: spill containment, fire spread limitation, and vapour management. Compliant with COSHH, ATEX, and equivalent European regulations for the storage of Category 1, 2, and 3 flammable liquids.

The Q-90 is part of the Q-series chemical safety cabinet range, which also includes the compact Q-30 for environments with smaller inventory requirements. Both models share the same construction standard and compliance specification, allowing organisations to select the appropriate capacity for their specific chemical inventory without compromising on the safety standard.
