NoteCart Unifit

The NoteCart Unifit is a mobile laptop charging trolley that stores and charges 12, 24 or 32 devices and takes them to wherever the lesson or the meeting is. Three sizes run from 1007 to 1355 mm high, 630 to 870 mm wide and 630 to 700 mm deep.

Locking and charging

Every size charges the devices while they are locked inside, so a set is ready at the start of the session rather than half-flat. Two locking options are available: a key lock supplied with two keys, or an electronic code lock. A digital code lock suits a trolley that several members of staff use in turn, since access can be shared without handing round a key; a key lock suits a trolley in the care of one person. Both secure the whole cabinet rather than individual compartments.

Trolley or fixed cabinet?

A charging trolley earns its keep when one set of laptops or tablets serves several rooms. Where devices are issued and returned to a single point, a fixed cabinet is usually the better buy: the Zeus laptop safe holds up to 48 machines on movable shelves, and the Evolo computer safe offers individual locking compartments with charging. The Guardian computer cart is our lower, bench-height alternative to the NoteCart, at 850 mm high for 10 or 20 laptops.
