DataPlus 3 Fireproof Data Safe (432 LTO) - Burglary Protection Grade S2 / Fire Test 120 min - Key Lock

OS-CHUB0208

The Data Plus is a fireproof data safe built to protect digital media — LTO tapes, drives and disks — with S2 burglary protection and a 120-minute fire rating to the demanding data-media standard. It keeps the interior cool and dry during a fire, where an ordinary document safe would let media fail. It is offered in a range of capacities.

S2 burglary and 120-minute data-media fire protection

Certified to the data-media fire standard, the Data Plus holds internal temperature and humidity low enough to keep magnetic and digital media intact through a prolonged fire, while its S2 rating resists theft. It suits IT rooms, offices and businesses safeguarding backups and records, with a choice of key or combination locking. A Data Plus safe is purpose-built protection for irreplaceable data.

Fire – Data 120 Minutes

120 Minutes Data Media Protection – Certified data safe: the interior stays below 50 °C through 120 minutes of fire exposure.
Suitable for heat-sensitive digital storage media such as tapes, drives and discs.

If you're bolting the safe inside a wardrobe with a wooden back, we strongly recommend that you cut a hole in the back corresponding to the size of the safe in order to push the safe directly up against the wall.

How can I get an extra copy of the key for my safe?
You can ask a local locksmith to make a copy if you still have a key. If you lost all your keys to the safe, it will depend on whether your door is open: 1) OPEN door - you can replace the entire safe lock with a new lock. 2) LOCKED door - no easy solution. A professional would have to either pick the safe lock (not easy!) or break into the safe to recover any valuables. The exact approach would depend on the security level of your safe but the safe will be destroyed and you would have to replace it.
