Lyra Grade 1

The Lyra Grade 1 is a certified security safe providing EN 1143-1 Grade 1 verified burglary protection for homes, offices, and small commercial environments. It meets the requirements of most residential and commercial insurance policies that specify a certified Grade 1 safe — making it one of the most practical and widely applicable certified safes for everyday use. Grade 1 represents the entry point for commercially insured safe storage and provides independently verified resistance against a sustained attack with common tools.

The Lyra Grade 1 features a reinforced double-walled steel body, anti-drill protection on the lock, and active re-locking that engages automatically if an attack on the lock is detected. Available in a range of sizes to suit different storage volumes — from compact units for a small quantity of cash and documents to larger models capable of holding A4 files, laptops, and significant valuables alongside cash holdings. Both key lock and electronic lock options are available, with electronic models supporting multiple user codes and quick code changes.

Pre-drilled fixing points are supplied as standard, allowing the safe to be securely anchored to a concrete or timber floor, or to a solid wall — preventing removal of the entire unit, which is a common attack method against unanchored safes. Available in the full Lyra range alongside the Lyra Grade 0 for environments where a lower grade is sufficient.
