Fire Protection
Fire protection covers the full spectrum of equipment, systems, and measures designed to detect, suppress, and limit the spread of fire in buildings and facilities. Effective fire protection is not optional — it is a legal requirement for all commercial, public, and multi-occupancy residential premises across Europe and North America. The correct combination of equipment depends on the building type, occupancy, fire risk assessment, and applicable national regulations.
Safegear's fire protection range provides everything needed to equip any premises to current fire safety standards. The extinguisher range covers all major fire classes: water extinguishers for Class A solid combustible fires, foam extinguishers for Class A and B fires, CO2 extinguishers for electrical and Class B fires, and powder extinguishers for Class A, B, and C fires. All extinguishers are EN 3 certified and available with matching wall brackets, floor stands, and trolley carts for correct positioning and transport.
Beyond extinguishers, the range includes fire blankets for smothering small contained fires, fire hose reels for permanent mains-fed fire-fighting installations, and fire escape ladders for upper-floor emergency evacuation. Safety signage — including emergency exit signs and warning signs compliant with EN ISO 7010 — ensures building occupants can identify evacuation routes quickly under emergency conditions. Lithium battery storage cabinets address the growing risk of thermal runaway fires from e-bike, EV, and power tool batteries.
