How Delivery Works

Every SafeGear order shows a delivery estimate directly on the product page, based on the item's weight and your selected country. All prices are non-binding indications; your final quote is confirmed after our team reviews your address and access details.

Curbside Delivery

Curbside delivery brings your item to the edge of your property - the kerb, driveway, or building entrance - where it is left for you to bring inside. This is the standard delivery method and is shown as "Curbside Delivery" on each product.

Delivery to Final Location

For heavier safes and equipment, our team can carry the item to its final position inside your home or premises. This is shown as "Delivered to final location" on the product page and includes handling, stairs, and positioning by trained staff.

Installation Options

Standard Installation (Delivered to Final Location)

Standard installation places the item exactly where you want it. It covers transport to the final location, unpacking, and positioning. It does not include anchoring the item to the floor or wall.

Installation with Bolting to Floor/Wall

Many safes must be anchored to achieve their certified security rating and to satisfy insurance requirements. The "Delivered to final location with bolting to floor/wall" estimate adds professional anchoring to the standard installation price. Our team supplies and fits the appropriate anchoring hardware for your floor or wall type.

Estimated Timelines

An estimated delivery time is shown as a badge (for example, "1-2 weeks") on each product page. Timelines vary by destination, stock availability, and installation requirements:

  • In-stock items: typically dispatched within a few business days.
  • Standard delivery within the EU: usually 1-2 weeks.
  • Made-to-order or high-security models: may require additional lead time, which is noted on the product page.

You will receive scheduling confirmation once your order is ready for dispatch.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • You can reschedule a booked delivery or installation slot free of charge up to 48 hours before the agreed date.
  • Cancellations made before dispatch are refunded in full.
  • Once an item has been dispatched, standard return terms apply - see our Returns & Refunds policy.
  • Missed appointments or access problems on the day may incur a re-delivery fee.

What access do you need?

Please ensure there is a clear, unobstructed path from the delivery vehicle to the final location. Tell us in advance about narrow doorways, tight corners, or restricted vehicle access so we can plan the right equipment and crew.

Can you deliver up or down stairs?

Yes. Stair carries are possible for most items, but heavy safes may require additional crew or equipment. Let us know the number of steps and floors when you request an estimate so we can quote accurately.

Do you use elevators?

We can use elevators where the item fits within the car's dimensions and weight limit. If the item exceeds the elevator capacity, a stair carry or specialist lifting may be needed.

Is there a maximum weight?

We regularly deliver and install safes weighing several hundred kilograms. Very heavy items or difficult access may require specialist handling - request a Transport Form quote and we will confirm what is possible for your location.

How are prices calculated?

Delivery and installation estimates are based on the item's weight band and your country. The figures shown are indications only; the final cost depends on your specific location, access, stairs, and any special requirements.
