The BT floor safe is a heavy-duty safe designed for permanent, concealed installation in concrete or solid flooring. Once set into the floor and covered with a carpet tile or floor panel, it becomes virtually undetectable — providing security through concealment as well as physical resistance. Floor safes are not normally cast directly into the concrete slab; instead, a polystyrene former slightly larger than the safe is used to create the void, which is removed after the concrete sets before the safe is placed and cast into position. This method reduces moisture exposure during construction. Note that the combination lock is not weatherproof and should not be exposed to wind and rain.
Suitable for homes, offices, hotels, and retail environments where discreet, permanent storage of cash, jewellery, and valuables is required. Suitable for key lock or combination lock operation.
